The brief
The chamber was opened up, giving the fireplace a more substantial and traditional stove setting.
A Schiedel UK flue liner was installed, along with a granite hearth and beam.
How the project came together
The chamber was tiled using natural split-faced slate tiles, adding strong texture around the appliance.
The stove is the Avalon 4 gas from Hunter Stoves Group, so this page should remain clearly categorised as a gas stove installation.
