The brief
The installation was designed as a complete room feature from the outset. Rather than treating the stove as a standalone appliance, Fires In Stone created an entire wall composition built around the fireplace, television and bespoke furniture.
At the centre sits the Nevis 5 multi fuel stove, recessed beneath the inset television within a newly constructed chimney breast. The darker fireplace opening gives the appliance visual depth and allows the flame picture to stand out clearly within the room.
How the project came together
The bespoke cabinetry either side takes the installation to another level. Built specifically for the room, the cupboards and shelving introduce practical storage while helping the entire wall feel symmetrical, grounded and intentional.
Oak shelving and integrated lighting soften the darker painted finish and add warmth to the overall scheme. This layering of materials is important because it prevents the wall from feeling flat or overly modern.
Details worth noticing
The finished result feels architectural, highly functional and visually balanced. It combines the atmosphere of a real stove with the practicality of fitted furniture and the clean appearance of a contemporary media wall.
