The brief
At the centre of the installation is the Vision Solus 130 electric fire, recessed neatly into the custom-built chimney breast below the wall-mounted television. The proportions between the TV, fire and surrounding cabinetry have been carefully balanced so the entire wall feels cohesive rather than crowded.
The bespoke fitted cupboards and shelving on either side completely transform the room. Rather than leaving unused wall areas empty, the project introduces practical storage, display space and integrated lighting while still maintaining a refined appearance.
How the project came together
Solid oak shelving adds warmth and texture against the darker painted finish, helping to soften the clean architectural lines of the media wall. The integrated dimmable LED lighting further enhances the joinery detail and gives the room a more atmospheric evening feel.
The spray-finished cabinetry creates a far more premium appearance than standard off-the-shelf media wall systems. Everything feels built specifically for the room because it has been.
Details worth noticing
This type of project appeals particularly to customers who want a luxury fitted look within their main living space — something that combines entertainment, storage and atmosphere into one architectural feature wall.
