The brief
The opening was lined with brickwork to create a warm and textured chamber inside the stone structure.
A flexible flue liner, slate hearth and beam were installed before the stove was fitted.
How the project came together
The Clock Woodburners Blithfield 5 sits at the centre of the inglenook, giving the fireplace a strong practical focal point.
The finished result is a substantial and characterful fireplace with the depth and presence of an older home.
