The chimney breast was opened up to create a more suitable recess for the stove.
A lifetime-warranty flue liner, closure plate and new hearth were installed.
How the project came together
The opening was lined with A1-rated fire board and finished with a ceramic cast beam from Focus Fireplaces.
The finished result is a strong fireplace revamp with a classic stove at the centre.
