The brief
Fires In Stone built an external chamber, starting with a slab foundation and then constructing the brick chamber outside the property.
The chamber was built with a cavity wall and insulated roof, similar in principle to an extension.
How the project came together
The team knocked through to create the fireplace opening, installed the hearth, lined the chamber with brick slips and fitted the flue system.
The final result allowed the customer to have a proper stove fireplace without sacrificing internal room space.
