The brief
The job became more involved when the existing plaster skim failed during removal, but the team prepared the wall and re-skimmed it before continuing.
The new hearth was fitted first, followed by the brick slip feature wall, giving the fireplace a more textured and characterful backdrop.
How the project came together
The existing stove was cleaned, resprayed and re-fitted, making it look much fresher within the upgraded setting.
The result is a strong example of a fireplace refresh where the appliance is retained but the surrounding materials are transformed.
