Stove installation

Hunter Halo Radial Stove Installation in a Whiskey Den

This installation was designed to give Liam and Mandy’s whiskey den a proper focal point: something warm, atmospheric and stylish enough to suit a room made for relaxing. The Hunter Halo Radial wood burning stove was the ideal choice, bringing a contemporary flame view into a calm, pared-back space.

Project at a glance

Northumberland | Wood Burning Stoves | Planned, supplied, and installed by Fires in Stone.

The brief

The stove has been positioned on a curved black hearth, with a clean vertical flue rising above it. The simplicity of the surrounding wall allows the appliance to stand out as a sculptural feature rather than competing with heavy fireplace materials.

The Halo Radial is a modern wood burning stove with a rounded body and large curved glass. That makes it especially effective in smaller or more intimate rooms because the flame can be appreciated from more than one angle.

How the project came together

In a whiskey den or snug, atmosphere matters just as much as heat output. Here, the real flame gives the room a soft evening focal point, while the neat log storage beneath the stove adds practicality and visual warmth.

The finished installation feels deliberately understated. There is no bulky surround or overcomplicated chimney breast; just a clean contemporary stove, a smart hearth and the warmth of the fire itself.

Details worth noticing

This project is a strong reference for customers wanting a premium freestanding stove installation in a snug, den, lounge or smaller feature room.
