The brief
The appliance is the Parkray Aspect 4 from Hunter Stoves Group, a compact contemporary stove that works well where a strong flame picture is wanted without overwhelming the fireplace opening.
The old electric fire was removed, allowing the fireplace to be reworked around a real wood burning appliance.
How the project came together
A hearth was supplied by Fires In Stone, with a beam from Focus Fireplaces used to complete the traditional fireplace line above the stove.
A Schiedel flue liner was installed as part of the project, giving the stove the proper flue route behind the finished appearance.
