The brief
The old cabinet was removed and the opening was framed out in steel, providing a safe and suitable structure for the stove installation.
The area was lined with cement construction board before being tiled, giving the fireplace a clean and durable finish.
How the project came together
The stove is the Parkray Aspect 5 from Hunter Stoves Group, paired with a factory-made flue system from Schiedel UK.
The finished project is a good example of turning underused space in an extension into a warm focal point with a real fire.
