Blyth Feature Chimney Breast with Stove and External Flue

This Blyth project for Pam and John transformed a previously flat wall into a feature chimney breast with a wood burning stove, brick chamber and beam.

Blyth Feature Chimney Breast with Stove and External Flue

Project at a glance

Blyth | Twin Wall Flue Systems | Planned, supplied, and installed by Fires in Stone.

The brief

The brick chamber is the key visual detail, giving the new opening texture and depth while making the fireplace feel more established.

A beam above the stove adds a traditional mantel line and helps soften the new chimney breast.

How the project came together

The external flue system is TW Pro, allowing the stove to be installed where a conventional chimney was not already in place.

The project shows the value of detailed finishing, with clean brick slip work giving the whole feature a premium feel.
