The brief
The customer’s chosen stove required the surrounding walls to be protected from heat, so the team used Italian slate to provide both safety and visual impact.
The slate was cut, shaped and mitred using a RUBI wet saw, allowing the protection panels to meet cleanly and look professionally finished.
How the project came together
Using the same slate for the hearth and wall creates a cohesive installation, with the dark stone framing the stove from floor to wall.
The flue system used was TW Pro from MI Flues, completing the technical side of the project behind the finished look.
