The brief
A flue liner was installed into the chimney and connected to the existing stove.
While on site, the team serviced and refurbished the fire, bringing it back to a much fresher appearance.
How the project came together
The limestone fire surround was also one previously made in the Fires In Stone workshop and fitted nearly ten years earlier.
The result is a useful reminder that some fireplaces can be improved significantly through liner work, servicing and refurbishment rather than a full replacement.
