The brief
A flexible flue liner was installed along with a steel closure plate and rustic limestone hearth.
The original brickwork was cleaned and left exposed, giving the chamber natural character.
How the project came together
A non-combustible ceramic beam was added above the opening before the Medium Tinderbox stove from Mi-Flues was fitted.
The finished result is a cosy and authentic fireplace transformation with real material warmth.
