The brick pillars give the fireplace a more authentic and architectural feel than a standard chamber finish.
The fireplace was opened up before a stainless steel Technoflex flue liner from Schiedel UK was installed.
How the project came together
The stove is the Norvik 5 from CastTec, set on a Brazilian slate hearth with a ceramic geocast beam above from Capital Fireplaces.
The finished result combines rustic brickwork with a practical multifuel stove and a durable slate base.
