The brief
The scale of the stone inglenook demanded a stove with enough presence to sit confidently within the opening, and the Aspect 14 is suited to that larger setting.
A flexible flue liner was installed into the chimney, giving the appliance a suitable flue route through the existing structure.
How the project came together
A direct air kit was also fitted so the stove could draw its supply air from outside, a useful technical detail in suitable modern installations.
The finished project keeps the character of the stone fireplace while adding the performance and cleaner styling of a modern wood burning stove.
